Typical small landhouses with traditional yards. There is a restaurant attached which is well equipped to provide a variety of meals with experienced chefs.

There is a pool in one of the yards in this typical cretan village which is 5 kms up in the mountains from the small town of Rethymnon. Here you will find studios for up to 3 guests and apartments like a maisonette for 2 – 4 people.

These are air conditioned with a safe + SAT TV. The price is inclusive of breakfast.

In the village center there are taverns which are frequented by the villagers, there are small shops, bakers and the bus stop with lots of stops into the town - the bus service allows you to discover more and see more of Crete.

We would also recommend you to rent a car too which will enable you to travel further afield. The nearest beaches are 5 kms away in Rethymnon but there are a lot of others and a lot of trips on Crete are possible.

The studios and apartments are a short drive out of Rethymnon up into the hills, behind the town will bring you to the small village of Atsipopoulo , where this lovely group of stone houses and apartments are built. Some of the houses are very old and fully restored with their history going back to the 18th century.

The tiled courtyard is filled with trees and flowers, in the middle a beautiful swimming pool with deckchairs and relaxing couches. There is also a communal roof terrace where you can take in the vista over the rooftops of the village and the countryside to the sea below.

The apartments are mostly arranged over two floors with a lovely spiral staircase connecting the floors, and are decorated with colorful prints on the walls, wicker furniture, pretty soft furnishings and lovely pieces of traditional Cretan pottery that are artfully scattered around.

Air-conditioned, with cool tiled floors, big windows and double doors that open to the terraces, the interiors are sunlit and airy.
