Details:
The
region, situated between the Pyrenees and cities as Toulouse,
Lourdes and Tarbes, fits the needs of nature lovers as well as
city votaries.
The Pyrenees have a great scenery with breathtaking views.
Walking, mountaineering, horse riding, rafting, canoeing, and in
the winter skiing, langlauf and excursions on snowshoes can be
arranged.
Spain with low priced shopping is an hour away. But also a day at the seaside is possible. It takes about three
hours to reach the Atlantic coast (Biarritz is a beautiful seaside resort) or the Mediterranean.
The gîte is situated in rural area. The hilly landscape is
lovely. Arable land, meadows and groves alternate. Tranquillity
and space still exists here. There are good restaurants in the
area. Ten golf-courses are in easy reach. Or you can swim in a nearby lake.
