CHEZ LUQUET is a
charming, converted,
hillside farmhouse in the sunny, un-crowded S. Charente in the SW region
of France, with its own
swimming pool and pretty views over vines, woodland, maize and grazing
cattle, yet only 10 minutes drive from shops, restaurants and tennis.
Ideal for exploring pretty
villages and market towns, fishing, riding, cycling, golfing, sail
boarding, canoeing; seeing the chateaux and Romanesque churches; visiting
Aubeterre, Cognac, St. Emilion, Bordeaux and the Atlantic
beaches.
ACCOMMODATION
The house has been horizontally
split into two, well equipped, self contained apartments and can be rented
either as a whole, sleeping 14 in 7 double bedrooms, or as separate flats
sleeping 8 in the Garden Gite consisting of 4 bedrooms and the
Granary Gite sleeping 6 and consisting of 3 bedrooms.

The
swimming pool is a large 32ft x 16 ft with beautiful views to
enjoy.
There
are woods nearby where you can spend hours exploring and
enjoying the beautiful countryside. You can walk over to
the neighbouring farm for fresh eggs and milk and other farm
produce.
Or,
you may just wish to relax, sip your wine and enjoy the
beautiful views lounging around by the pool area or outside on
the patio.
