Property description
The Farmhouse accommodates 14 people.

There are 3 spacious bedrooms and a large "mezzanine", 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet, a large open plan kitchen / dining room and sitting room.

Apart from the "mezzanine", the accommodation is all on the ground floor and finished in terracotta tiles.

The farmhouse was renovated in 2001 . . and at that time had all new furnishings - beds, fridge, hob etc etc.. Everyone loves it . . very spacious with lovely views across the fields.

It is only 2 mins walk from the Chartreuse.

The accommodation comprises:

3 double rooms (2 with double beds and one with two singles).
The "mezzanine" has four single beds (These can be made up as bunk beds). The two sofas in the sitting room are double "sofa beds" and very confortable. (The french have a wonderful design - using the same slats as for their beds). 2 bathrooms. (both with baths and one also has a shower).

Fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, separate 4 ring hob and a utility room with washing machine and dryer.

The farmhouse benefits from full central heating.

There is a telephone. Linen and towels are provided. A cot is available and baby sitting service available by the same resident English/"Peruvian" Estate manager - Richard.

The famhouse is set back from the private drive and is approx 2 mins walk from the Chatreuse.
Outside
The farmhouse is completely surrounded by fields.
Very tranquil - I have passed many an evening sipping a glass of Ricard and chatting on the porch with Michel (the farmer).

Of the 50 or so hectares, some 10 hectares are used to harvest hay in July (normalement! - all depends on the weather).

If you are here for harvesting - then you may wish to help - e.g. driving the tractor!
