Miraflores is one of the Costa del Sol's top leisure and resort developments. Located in the hills above Mijas Costa it offers breathtaking views of the countryside down to the sea. The golf course has a number of elevated greens which require some tough walking so a buggy is often a good idea. The 18th green is tricky with severe slopes. Watch out for the 15th hole, where water forms a moat around the green.

park open in the evenings in Benalmadena (25 minutes away). Water-sports, go-karting and trampolining are available at 'Funny Beach' near Marbella. African Safari, Sea-world and other adventures are within 30 minutes drive. The ski resort of Sierra Nevada is approximately 2 hours away, allowing for a full day's skiing. The season is from late November to April.
