Description of Area
Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain
Located on the pretty coastline of Costa Blanca with pretty beaches and coves. 30 minutes drive to the Theme Park of Terra Mitica and Aqualandia and Mundomar just outside of Benidorm. Short distance to the beautiful Jalon Valley with lush green countryside. Pretty beaches and coves with Denia to the north and Moraira a traditional fishing village about 15 mins. drive and Calpe with it's colourful paintings on the walls and quaint park areas too.
Golf - For those who are keen golfers, or for those wishing to take up the sport for the first time, there are many excellent courses to be enjoyed in Costa Blanca. These include La Sella Golf Club in Denia (18 hole, par 72) and Club Javea in Javea (9 hole, par 72).
Motorway - The A7 motorway runs north to south a few kilometres from the coast, with junctions 62 and 63 connecting to Jāvea. The N332 from Valencia to Alicante passes through Gata de Gorgos, from which the A-134 branches off to Jāvea.
Airports - The international airports of L'Altet (Alicante) at 90km, (approx 1.25 hours) and Manises (Valencia) at 105km, (approx 1.5hours) provide links to the major European capitals.
Railways - The railway station at Teulada Town is served by the narrow-gauge service between Denia and Alicante. There is no interchange into the national network at Denia and at Alicante it is some distance across the city to the main-line station.
Bus Services - A daily bus service provides connections to Alicante and Valencia.
