For those who do decide to hire a vehicle, there is underground parking. Javea is a scenic coastal town with lovely beaches and pretty rocky coves. The historic Port and Old Town have many bars, restaurants and shops. The beach has a gently sloping shore making it ideal for children, there are also play areas to keep them entertained. The promenade has many cafes and restaurants catering for all tastes where you can take refuge from the sun and enjoy either a three course meal or a simple snack. There a few golf courses in the area and a massive theme park and water park in nearby Benidorm (45 minutes away).
