VILLA DELPHINA
This lovely villa has retained many of its original traditional Spanish characteristics - a pretty, internal courtyard, Tosca stone arches, an imposing wooden staircase, beamed ceilings, and a wrought iron balcony feature. These, combined with some fine pieces of furniture from around the world, provide a unique sense of comfort and homeliness, and a most pleasant atmosphere. Entrance to the villa is directly into the large lounge and dining areas through the naya. Also on the ground floor are a large kitchen and utility room, one bedroom and two bathrooms. On the first floor, reached by stairs from the living room, are two bedrooms and one bathroom, the master bedroom, with its beamed ceiling and windows on two sides, furnished most attractively with writing table and chairs, easy chairs, rugs and artefacts. The impressive grounds are flat, and virtually on one level, with a large pool, lawns and hedges, palms, flowering shubs and colourful borders. For outdoor living there is a pleasant covered naya with sofa, table and chairs, and a large, tiled sun terrace with hardwood table and chairs, umbrella, and sun beds. Jávea’s sandy beach is only 2 km away, and there are restaurants and supermarkets within a ten minute walk.
