in St Jean de Monts:
Mas de Vertmarines is a recently built holiday villa complex at ST JEAN DE MONTS. Only 1300m from the famous long, sandy beach and set amongst the sand dunes and pine forest, this complex of various sized holiday villas, has two heated swimming pools (one open end of May to 15/9), a children's club (dates tbc for 2005 but approx. 16/6 - end august), a reception, laundry and bike hire can be organised.
All the villas are tiled inside with white walls and have locally made pine furniture. The doors from the terrace lead into the open plan lounge with sofa, dining and kitchen area, with open stairs which lead up to the mezzanine.
In the kitchen area there is a sink, fridge, 4 electric rings and a minioven and the crockery and cutlery.
The width of beds are Double :140cm, Single : 80cm. There are blankets and pillows in the villas.
The bathrooms have a flexible shower hose fitment from the bath, or have been changed and now have just a shower cubicle. Please indicate if you require a bath.

Type t3 for 6 person house (A)
6 persons T3 Mezzanine, approx. 56m²: downstairs there is one double bedroom with ensuite shower or bathroom (with bath and a flexible shower hose fitment, or just a shower) and separate toilet. Upstairs: there is a bedroom with 2 single beds or a double, and a sofa bed for 2 people or 2 singles on the mezzanine. Some villas have a second bathroom with bath and a flexible shower hose fitment or a shower cubicle, and some have a second toilet and some have a garage.
Type t2 for 4 or 5 person house (B)
4 or 5 persons T2 Mezzanine, 38-44m²: 1 double bedroom downstairs and the mezzanine area has 2 or 3 single beds. Bathroom with bath and a flexible shower hose fitment or a shower cubicle, and access to the toilet is via the bathroom.
There are 280 villas in this complex and approx 150 are rented out direct by their french owners. The villas are in groups of 4 and 6 and 8 villas. The villas were built during 1995-1998.
PRICES INCLUDE: cold and hot water, and electricity in July and August.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE: Local tourist tax 0.40 euros per person per day 1/4-30/9. Electricity and heating outside July and August - for a family of 5 in 2004 the average cost of electricity per week was about about £15 - 20. Only applicable outside July and August. Sheets and towels can be rented - see property services section.
There are two heated swimming pools (one open approx end May to 15/9), a children's club for 4 to 10 year olds (TBC FOR 2005 / approx. 16/6 - end August), a reception, laundry and bike hire can be arranged.
There are numbered separate parking spaces as the complex is pedestrianised.
