Description of Apartment
in Nice:
The building in which the apartment is set is only two years old (completed in 2002). The apartment's modern style blend well with the surrounding buildings.
Unlike many older apartment buildings in Nice, this apartment is very secure with gated entry which requires a security number.
The apartment has a wonderful view of the hills behind Nice, the balcony faces a courtyard so there are no roads to spoil your view.
The balcony of the apartment is large in size measuring around 10sqm. Both the bedroom and lounge enter onto the balcony with large sliding glass doors.
The kitchen is a new modern style kitchen that comes with everything you require: cooker / hob, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, cutlery, pots & pans
There is also a dining table (to accomodate four people) and tv / video. All fixtures and furnishings are brand new, fitted in summer 2004.
The lounge has a sofa bed which will sleep two people comfortably. The lounge area has a sliding patio door which leads to the balcony.
The bedroom is decorated in a simple modern style with bedside tables, lamps and a large wardrobe. It has access to the balcony. It comes with heating and a ceiling fan.
Parking The apartment comes with its own parking space, which is located in the lower floor of the building. Street parking in Nice can be a complete nightmare and public parking is very often expensive.
The parking space is available at no extra charge, although please inform me if you need it.
Getting to the apartment is very easy and there are a number of options.
Linen & Towels are included in the price.
There is an after stay cleaning charge of 45 Euros which is payable upon arrival.

Description of Area in & around Nice
The Port Area The apartment is situated in the picturesque port area of Nice. The area is favoured upon by many visitors to Nice because it has a relaxing ambiance which is hard to find in other parts of Nice. The port boasts many cafes, bars and a good choice of quality restaurants. The main promenade and beach are easily reached on foot and the beautiful old town is very close by.

You will be met at the apartment by a representative who will "settle you in", she is British and very helpful in answering any questions about the apartment or the area. You are asked to pay a security deposit which will be returned at the end of your stay providing there is no damage or breakages to the apartment and that the keys are safely returned.
