Description of Apartment
in Rojales:
The two bedroom Apartment is a new downstairs property completed in July 2004 in a block of 52, which has a large living/dining area with satellite TV radio/CD player. In the kitchen there is a washer, fridge-freezer, oven & hob, iron & ironing board. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, toilet, sink & bidet. The hot water is supplied by a large electric boiler which is included in the rental fee.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The property will sleep six.
There is a large patio at the front with the usual patio furniture, and a smaller patio at the back where there is clothes maiden to dry your washing.
There is some building work on other blocks still going on, but this will be finished by May 2005 when the very large pool will be opened.

Description of Area in & around Rojales
The property is in Formentera Del Segura, on the outskirts of Rojales which is a typical Spanish town. There are a variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and clubs and pubs including, one English & one Irish close by. There is a very pretty church, a local museum and a lovely village square where you can sit & watch the world go by.
The river Segura runs through the centre of Rojales, this a lovely place to while away a few hours in the evening and where many of the locals spend their spare time with the family.
There is a road of very lively discos in Rojales close by, but these are mainly frequented by the Spanish and only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings as this is a working town and not a tourist town.
The town comes alive on Thursday mornings with the market being held beside the river in the town centre. People come from far and wide to get their fresh vegetables and the many bargains that are to be had there. The leather goods are well recommended, as is the spit roasted chicken full of garlic juice and black pepper for only 6 euros.
Rojales is ideally situated for the major golf courses, the new one being La Finca in Algorfa. this is about ten minutes away. Las Ramblas, Villamartin and Campoamor are all within 25 minutes of the property. There are lots of smaller golf courses in the area also, Rojales itself has one a few minutes away from the property.
Rojales is only about 15 minutes from Torrevieja which is a lively tourist town, if you want an energetic day or night out. There is also a water park approximately 10 minutes away. If you want to be livelier still Benidorm is approximately one and a half hour away.
The apartment is about 10 minutes to Guadamar a lively, but not too tourist orientated town, where there is miles of fantastic beach with a blue flag for safety & cleanliness. There is also a marina in Guadamar and if you fancy some fresh air to your body there is also a large nudist beach. Guadamar is one of the preferred places that the Spanish, living inland, visit for their summer holidays.
If you want a lively holiday, this apartment is not for you.
If you want a taste of typical Spanish life or somewhere as a base to see the real Spain, or somewhere near numerous golf courses, then this is ideal.
