This is a lovely Portuguese style villa, very spacious and positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac just 500 meters from the beach of Praia Da Castello. Built amidst attractive, well-cared for gardens this two storey property is furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout.
The open plan lounge and dining area is extremely smart, light and airy affording a relaxed atmosphere. There are bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the property and the old town of Albufeira is only a 5 minute taxi drive away.
The three double bedrooms are extremely comfortable in design, One of them has an ensuite bathroom and the other 2 bedrooms share one fully fitted bathroom . Some of the bedrooms also open out on to the sun terraces. The fully fitted kitchen is brand new and as built in oven and microwave as well as all the usual facilities . The freshwater swimming pool is generous in size and is an ideal place to laze away the day while the furnished patio is ideal for long, warm, tranquil evenings whilst doing a family BBQ.

As a result of the tide of tourism this once upon a time fishing village has expanded since the 1960s into a major holiday resort and now has over 12,000 permanent residents.The centre of the town changes its character after the sunsets. A plentiful collection of bars, restaurants and clubs start to fill-up with the tourist until they over spill into the narrow streets. There is a good selection of good beaches run both to the east and west from the town. Praia de Balaia, Praia de Castelo, Praia de Falésia, Praia de Galé, de Olhos d’Agua, Praia de Maria Luisa, and Praia de São Rafael, being the main ones. First and foremost, Albufeira is famed for its beaches, for the countless shades and tones of its rocks and cliffs. This is a place where people live to the rhythim of the great holiday destinations, sunbathing during the day and at sunset flocking to enjoy the restaurants, bars and discos that enliven the night-time hours. Just a few miles inland and everything changes. The green of the countryside is dotted with almond, fig, orange and pine trees and decorated chimneys stand out against the ochre of tiled roofs. Also for the Kids among us there are plenty of Golf Courses , Water and Theme Parks
Albufeira is spread out rather than high-rise. The town itself consists of "old" and "new" sections which merge seamlessly into an extensive holiday-land suburbia, spreading off back east along the coast to Balaia, Olhos d'Agua and Falesia, and west to São Rafael, Galé and the links golf course at Salgados. The whole area, greater Albufeira you could call it, is the most tourist-intensive place in Portugal. It has very little to do with the real Portugal, or with the real planet earth for that matter, but people come here in droves and have the time of their lives.
