The House is situated about 10-15 minutes outside the village of Mohon with its beautiful church, bank, boulangerie, bars and a newly opened Celtic bar/grill + a small supermarket. The house is in a quiet lane containing a small arable/dairy farm , and the milking shed is at the right hand rear of the garden, where you can watch the cows being milked.

10 minutes drive to Josselin and the magnificent Chateau de Rohan, old market [Saturday mornings] square , the Nantes- Brest Canal. Restaurants, bars, 2 large Supermarkets with petrol stations. 15 minutes drive to the Lac Au Duc and its man made beach, watersports, pedalos etc and a 9 hole golf course. Ploermel has bars, banks, numerous restaurants and also 3 large Supermarkets. A new Shopping Centre with Bowling Alley and cinema complex is currently under construction. Vannes [walled medieval city] is 30 minutes drive away [market days Saturday and Wednesday]. Rochfort-en Terre, medieval floral town with niche shops, pottery, restaurants and Chateau. Malestroit, medieval town [music on Friday nights in July August in the main square]. The Golf de Morbihan with its many beaches too numerous to name.
