The delightfully named town of Mar de Cristal, which translates as the “crystal sea”, is located right on the shores of the stunning Mar Menor lagoon. Located just 4km east of the town of Los Nietos, it offers great activities and things to do in the area.
The golden sand beach with its dunes is the main attraction for those seeking a beach vacation with a difference at Mar de Cristal. The saltwater lagoon of Mar Menor offers calm warm waters which are ideal for swimming, scuba diving and watersports. Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, wind surfing and jet skiing are all popular activities which are available at Mar de Cristal, whilst the Mediterranean is just a short distance away.
