This was a brand new villa in 2003 with 2 heated swimming pools, with fencing between them and the villa, set in the Domaine in St Jean de Monts, just 3.6 km to the beach.
This special villa Diamond, has 2 heated swimming pools - one especially for toddlers which has been created by a local swimming pool specialist who is working on the governments swimming pool safety guidelines.
The toddlers pool is approx 2.5 metres wide in a hexagonal shape. It is approx 50 cm in the deepest point and 30 cm at the sides. It has a water level detector. It has a separate heating system and a separate filtration system from the large poool.
The main swimming pool is approx 8 x 4 metres and is heated. It has a cover that can be rolled on at night if necessary and it also has steps into the pool. It has a seperate filtration and heating system from the toddlers pool and a water level detector. The water treatment is by salt-electrolysis system.
There is a fence separating the pools from the villa and there is enough space inside the fenced area for sunloungers whilst you watch the toddlers in their own shallow pool!. There is also a pool alarm in the main pool.
Set in the new gated development of detached villas with private pools near the forest, the beach is only 3.6 km away in St Jean de Monts, this special Villa Diamond is a large 4 bedroomed and 2 bath/shower rooms detatched villa sleeping 8 + a baby. New for 2005 : Fan, Television and please inform us of any extra furniture or equipement you require and within reason it will be added to the house for you! This luxury villa was built in 2003.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine (in the garage), ceramic hob electric rings, microwave oven and large electric oven, large fridge freezer, sink with crockery and cutlery for 8 persons.
The large lounge has 8 chairs and a dining table, large leather sofa-bed and armchair, 2 wicker chairs, 2 coffee tables and a buffet, and french windows overlooking the pool terrace.
There are 8 garden chairs and table plus 4 sunloungers. Plus there is a large built in barbecue provided. There is a front grassed open area and a side gravelled area which is great for shade. All the back area are tiled by the pools.
There are a total of 4 bedrooms - a double and a twin downstairs and a double and a twin upstairs. The two twin bedrooms have 2 single beds as a single and a trundle bed - so there is space to place a cot if you prefer to hire a cot and use 1 single bed instead of 2 single beds. The stair treads have been redesigned with wooden vertical parts added.
There is a bathroom downstairs with a bath and handbasin and a separate toilet. Upstairs there is a shower-room with a toilet and handbasin.
Sheets and towels are not included in the price but they can be hired at the cost of - sheets 8€ & towels 6€ per person.
Sorry but No animals in spring and summer - please ask about winter lets. There is a barbecue provided. There is a garage (a car is recommended). There is a Hi-Fi, CD player, open fireplace, central heating, high chair, and baby cot is availble.
There will be some childrens activities organised by reception. There is an footpath/bicycle exit from the Domaine to an un-made-up road that leads you to the chemin de fontenelles forest road and approx 3 km to the beaches if you wish to cycle, or join one of the local footpaths to wander in the forest
