Description of villa
in St Jean de Monts:
Mas de Vertmarines is a recently built holiday villa complex only 1300m from the famous long, sandy beach with two heated swimming pools and children's club; this house has 2 bedrooms and a third open mezzanine bedroom, for 6 persons.
All the villas are tiled inside with white walls and many have locally made pine furniture. The doors from the terrace lead into the open plan lounge with sofa, dining and kitchen area, with open stairs which lead up to the mezzanine.
In the kitchen area there is a sink, fridge, 4 electric rings and a minioven and the crockery and cutlery.
The width of beds are Double :140cm, Single : 80cm. There are blankets and pillows in the villas.
The bathrooms have a flexible shower hose fitment from the bath. Some of the bathrooms have been changed and now have just a shower cubicle and not a bath - please note this on your booking form if you require a bath, for example for your children.
There are 2 sized villas available:
Type t2 for 4 or 5 person house (B)
Type t3 for 6 person house (A) below
6 persons T3 Mezzanine, approx. 56m²: downstairs there is one double bedroom with ensuite shower or bathroom (with bath and a flexible shower hose fitment, or just a shower) and separate toilet. Upstairs: there is a bedroom with 2 single beds or a double, and a sofa bed for 2 people or 2 singles on the mezzanine. Some villas have a second bathroom with bath and a flexible shower hose fitment or a shower cubicle, and some have a second toilet and some have a garage.

There are 280 villas in this complex and approx 150 are rented out direct by their french owners. The villas are in groups of 4 and 6 and 8 villas. The villas were built during 1995-1998.
PRICES INCLUDE: cold and hot water, and electricity in July and August.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE: Local tourist tax 0.40 euros per person per day. Electricity and heating outside July and August - for a family of 5 in 2004 the average cost of electricity per week was about about £15 - 20. Only applicable outside July and August.
There are two heated swimming pools (one open end May to 15/9) dates tbc for 2005 , a children's club (approx. 16/6 - end August) dates tbc for 2005, a reception, laundry and bike hire can be arranged.
There are numbered separate parking spaces as the complex is pedestrianised.
The golf, shops, bars, restaurants and sporting amenities of St Jean de Monts are all nearby.

Additional services available from the complex’s reception that may be booked here: cot or high chair cost 12 euros per week per item; sheets and towels : just sheets cost 5 euros per bed per change, or just towels which includes 1 bath and 1 hand towel costs 7 euros; french television (not satelite) 34 euros per week.
Arrival days are normally from Saturday 16h/4pm to Saturday 10h/10am, but you may book per night outside July and August and arrive any day.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A deposit of 230 euros is required on arrival by credit card.
Price per week Saturday 16h00 to Saturday 10.00 in July and August. Other arrival days and different length of stay may be possible in other months.
The price is NOT inclusive of electricity outside July and August and is therefore payable as an extra.
Taxe de sejour is payable on arrival. The tourist tax is set by each towns mayor : 0.44 euros per person per day is payable from 1/4-30/9.
Please bring your own sheets and towels - or hire them from the reception/agency with at least one weeks notice.
Pets are not allowed.
A welcome food pack can be yours, awaiting your arrival in your villa, price 25 euros for 4 persons and 50 euros for 8 persons. The hamper must be reserved as soon as possible, or at least 2 weeks before your arrival. It is payable as an extra on your arrival. It will include food for a sandwich for the evening and french breakfast for the morning, so you can have a lie in on your first day before the supermarket.
