This very unique and rear ground floor apartment just off to the main square of a very pretty Provencal market village in the heart of the Var. The apartment is in its layout and situation, rear because of the wonderful sun filled terraced garden with a pool so close to the village with its shops, bars and cafés. Unique for the spacious and very appealing rooms this apartment offers. The apartment is made for living in-and outside, as you prefer, during the day and night. It would be very tempting to stay in the apartment, but the fantastic village, with shops and outdoor restaurants, is straight outside your walls, besides that, you are in the very heart of Provence. It takes you one hour to drive south to Cote d´Azur or half an hour to the lake and mountains around Gorges du Verdon, plus the history the village can offer only a walk from your door.
To enter the villa, you have to walk under a stone archway setting the charm of the garden and apartment. You walk past the pool and onto the terrace with table and chairs under a mature wisteria covered pergola over looking the pool and beside the BBQ area. You enter the apartment itself through the French door from the terrace into the open plan lounge dining room with high ceilings. The lounge is very comfortable with a wood burning stove to one corner; the dining table is set to the other side under the office mezzanine. From the lounge you can walk into the cosy TV room or second sitting room with not only the TV, also a radio/cassette/CD player.
The fully equipped country kitchen is to one side of the lounge, so that you do not feel cut off from family or friends there is an open hatch looking out into the lounge. There is a separate laundry room housing the washing machine just off the main hall way.
The master bedroom has a Queen size bed plus an en suite shower room with WC. The second double bedroom has French doors that look out into the garden. The third bedroom has twin beds. The family bathroom has a hand basin, bath and a step-in shower, there are two further separate WC’s.
Outside is a terrace with table and chairs, a small garden around a pool of 5x2.5 metres. This area is in full sun from the early morning until late afternoon, and has a lovely view down the river valley. You can hear the water cascading over the rocks in the river below.
Parking is in the car park in the village 50 meters away, but you can drive down the lane to the main entrance to load and off load luggage.
