The apartment complex is situated on the beaches of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which enjoys average water temperatures of 30c during the summer months.
Because of the water temperatures, this makes an ideal location for all sorts of water sports. There are international schools closeby which offer all sorts of nautical activies which include scuba diving, water skiing and wind surfing.
The Mar Menor is also home to The Black Mud which is said to help treat rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
Also nearby is the famous La Manga Club which is host to championship golf courses, aswell as tennis courts, spa facilities and a vast range of other activities. There is also a varied range of bars and restaurants to choose from and the club is open to the public all year round.
There is something for everyone here, whether you want an action packed holiday or a relaxing break, you can do as much or as little as you like.
Playa Honda is an up and coming village with a selection of shops, restaurants and a supermarket.
Just a short car ride away is the world famous La Manga Club which offers championship golf courses aswell as tennis, spa facilities and much more. The club also offers a vast range of bars and restaurants and this is all open year round to the public.
The Mar Menor enables you to try your hand at many water sports including scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing to name but a few. The land around the Mar Menor is relatively flat which makes it ideal for walking and cycling and bikes can be hired nearby.
