Included in the plan for the Terra Mitica amusement park which represents an area of 10 million m2 devoted to sport and leisure, the area consists of a hotel and residential areas connected by wide boulevards and landscaped avenues. Sierra Cortina is directly linked to the N332 main road and the A7 Motorway - 30 minutes from Alicante airport.
Other attractions close by are the Terrra Natura nature park, Aqualandia the water park, and Mundomar Sea World as well as two golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus.
