Description of Town House
in Lorgues, Le Thoronet:
This superbly renovated olive mill in a tiny hamlet beside the river Argens is now a very comfortable village house that can sleep up to 6 people. This is a great location for discovering the Var and it’s wonderful Provencal villages.
The olive mill has been completely restored offering a large and homely village house on two floors with double glazed windows and air conditioning to the upper floor. Walk into a family country kitchen with an oak table and chairs, wood burner and all the modern appliances for today’s cooking and entertaining. From the kitchen you walk into the lounge and dinning room with an open fire, flag stone floors and wood beamed ceiling. The stairs lead directly to the sun terrace with views over the river below; you can hear the sound of the running stream that flows in to the main river. The sun terrace offers you an outside area to relax in and soak up the sun. The terrace is equipped with a gas BBQ and table with chairs for outside dining.
The upper floor with wooden flooring has two bedrooms both with remote controlled air-conditioning one double and one with twin beds. A luxury bathroom with a corner Jacuzzi bath, a multi shower unit, double hand basins and a WC.
To the lower floor is the utility room with a separate WC.

A cleaning charge of 50.00 Euro to be paid on the day of departure.
Prices for 2010 are for the Villa on a weekly basis and pro rata on a daily basis. Minimum stay 1 week.
Your arrival time is 4 p.m. and the departure time of 10a.m.
A deposit of 30% is requested with booking.
The balance payment is required 8 weeks before the booking commences.
A refundable security payment of £250.00 is requested, paid with the balance of payment.
A £17 Admin Charge applies on Booking.

Description of Area in & around Lorgues, Le Thoronet
The market town of Lorgues is 6 kl and offers a Tourist Office, restaurants, Beauty Salon etc. There is also a Provencal market every Tuesday. Only a 10-minute drive Draguignan, the old capital of the Var, where there is a wider selection of shops and supermarkets. Vineyards and Olive groves abound, you can visit the stylish resorts of St. Tropez, St. Maxime, Antibes or Cannes.
It is about 90 minutes drive from Nice airport. If you are looking for somewhere special with plenty to do then this is it. Fantastic wine, great food, beaches, sleepy villages, 7 golf courses all within an hours drive or less and not forgetting the Gorges de Verdon on your doorstep.
