The apartment is located on the Las Gondalas complex which has a spectacularly landscaped pool area with shower and toilet facilities. The complex also has a bakery and Irish Pub. Across the road is a 9-hole golf course which offers very good rates and also has a driving range.There are a selection of shops and restaurants nearby.
The regular bus service up and down the strip provides even more choices with national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices.
La Manga is nestled between the beaches of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which enjoys warm shallow waters ideal for a variety of water sports and also good for families with young children.
There is an international sailing school just a short walk away from the complex so you could try your hand at sailing, wind surfing and other water sports. The school provides lessons for novices as well as catering for the experts.
This region of Spain enjoys very favourable termperatures throughout the year. Winters are usually much milder than that of England so it also makes a great winter break as well as fantastic for summer holidays.
From walking and cycling to go-karting and roller skating or horse riding, you can do it all here. The area caters for all ages and there is something for everyone.

Description of Area in & around La Manga
Nestled between 2 seas,La Manga offers the choice of 2 beaches. The calm, warm and shallow waters of the Mar Menor offer an ideal spot for families with small children as well as a whole host of water sports. The beaches of the Mediterranean offer more waves for the more adventurous water sports.
There is a sailing school conveniently placed a short walk away so if you wish to try your hand at water sports, they are on hand to cater for anyone from beginner to expert.
The La Manga strip is quite flat and so you be explored quite easily on foot or by bike. Bikes can be hired on the strip and quite reasonable prices along with quads.
There is a good selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance, but if you prefer a wider choice, a quick bus ride or car ride can offer national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices.
The bus service up and down the strip is offered all year round and these run every 40-45 minutes with very low fares.
