La Marina is a well developed coastal urbanisation in the Province of Valencia with all amenities within easy reach. The beautiful blue flag beach is approx. 5 minutes by car. It stretches for miles and gently slopes, so is ideal for bathing.
The lovely Spanish seaside resort of Guadamar is only 10 minutes drive away with its pavement cafes and night market.
Eating out locally is varied and inexpensive.

La Marina is near Alicante & Guadamar. There are good road links to Benidorm and Denis to the north and Mar Menor in the south. The Terra Mitica Theme Park near Benidorm is approx. 45 minutes drive which provides a thoroughly fun-packed family day out. There is also Aqualandia and Mundo Mar (Sea World) - also that provide fun packed days.
Slightly inland there is the beautiful old town of Elche and the picturesque mountain village of Guadalest.
There is an abundance of wildlife close at hand with the Salinas de Santa Pola having one of the larges flocks of flamingoes in Spain and the famous El Hondo nature reserve close by.
A number of low cost airlines fly into Alicante including Monarch, Easyjet and Air2000. Car hire ranges from £90 - £120 for a family car depending on the season.
