Boliqueime, The Algarve, Portugal
This old Portuguese village is only 5 minutes away and offers all necessary facilities including a post office, supermarket, chemist, bank, cafes and bars underneath the shadows of it's church.
The surrounding countryside is farmland, with olive, almond, fig, and other fruit trees in abundance. It is a short walk down to the local village, which although very small, does have a couple of shops, PO, a number of bars/cafes, and interestingly an antique/curio shop.
About a mile away from the villa, the land drops away in spectacular fashion to the Arade valley - a delight for nature lovers.
approx. 25mins by car from Faro airport (a car is essential). It is 12mins from Vilamoura, and 20mins from Albufiera.
