Description of Villa
in Les Arcs sur Argens:
This is a delightful 18th century converted silk mill in the Provence countryside with olive groves and vineyards just outside the medieval village of Les Arcs sur Argens.
The villa faces south with views of the Massif des Maures mountain range which can be seen from all windows. Mature mulberry trees shade parts of the frontage to the villa while grape vines grow on the villa walls. There is a covered outside dining room with a built-in BBQ, as well as a gas BBQ for cooking around the pool which is sited to the side of the villa.
The villa is full of character it has been tastefully modernised but at the same time keeping its charm. A cosy lounge with low beamed ceiling and an open log fire. The kitchen is very well equipped and houses a large table where the family can gather or use the covered outside dinning room.
There are 4 bedrooms all bright and sunny, plus 2 bathrooms. The main garden is to the front of the villa with meadow lawns and gravelled areas, which provides plenty of parking. The pool is surrounded by mature shrubs and a delightful boarder of with rosemary and olanders and is in full sunlight.
The market village of Les Arcs-sur-Argens is dominated by the tower of the medieval village high on the hillside. Spend time walking around this old part of the village enjoy the narrow streets and flowered windowcills. There is also market square and main street full of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.
