The sitting room is also equipped with a comfortable sofa & chairs, dining table, chairs, etc. from the apartment it is walking distance to the numerous bars and restaurants that surround the Marina and just around the corner is a large supermarket, pharmacy and bank.
In addition, the newly completed promenade links all of these services together along the shores of the Mar Menor just a stone's throw away.
Tomas Maestre is based at the northern end of the La manga strip and is a much sought after area to be based for a holiday or in many cases to live. The marina is very beautiful and offers an excellent range of bars and restaurants offering many types of cuisine.
There are shops and boat charters on the Mar Menor and Mediterranean can be organised from here, either sailing or power boat. Whether here on holiday or looking to buy the Marina is a must on your list of places to visit.
A few minutes walk in one direction will bring you to a sandy beach on the Mar Menor, with its calm, warm waters, renowned for their high mineral levels and healing qualities. Cross the road and you will find a long sandy beachs fronting the Mediterranean.

Description of Area in & around La Manga
Tomás Maestre Marina, La Manga Del Mar Menor, Costa Calida, Murcia, Spain
La Manga is situated in the Province of Murcia in a coastal area which boasts one of the most moderate climates in Spain, with more days of sunshine than other mainland areas and water temperatures higher than average. As a result it has become known as the Costa Calida - the Warm Coast.
It is a strip of sand, approx. 22 kms long, which forms a barrier and enclosed the Mar Menor (Minor Sea) and separates it from the Mediterranean Sea.
The Mar Menor is the largest salt-water lagoon in Europe also considered to be the worlds largest swimming pool, which is safe for all forms of water sport; it is non-tidal, crystal clear, and shallow never reaching more than 7 metres in depth and with average water temperature of 23 degrees, the Mar Menor is ideal. lovely warm clear water with little in the way of waves and a very gentle slope meaning that children can safely play without fear of suddenly being out of their depth.

Veneziola Golf 9 hole Par 3 Golf Course, La Manga Club has not one, two, but three championship golf courses along with a host of other activities including a 18-court tennis centre. There is a very good selection of international restaurants there and for those with any energy left at the end of the day, the club has a casino and an array of nightlife, available until 4 am in the morning!
Each of the three championship courses represents a different challenge, with the south course having hosted the Spanish Open on several occasions.
