in Flayosc, near Draguignan:
This is a delightful detached villa set in pleasant and private fenced gardens with a large pool. All on one level it can sleep up to 8 people, just 2 km from the centre of Flayosc - a lovely Provencal hilltop village with cafes, bars and restaurants.
Step into, what, from the outside looks like a very traditional villa to a bright modern open plan interior that has been completely and lovingly renovated in the autumn of 2004 to a very high standard by the owners. The lounge has comfortable sofas, TV with Sky satellite & CD player. To one side are French doors leading into a cosy sun lounge with a sofa bed. The dining room is set back from the lounge, with an elegant dinning table seating 6. The fully equipped modern kitchen ensures that cooking is a joy, as it looks over both the lounge and dining room preparing a meal can be a very sociable affair.
The villa has 3 bedrooms, one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC, a second double bedroom plus a bedroom with twin beds, all bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. For an extra sleeping area you have the sofa bed that can sleep 2 in the cosy sun lounge. The family bathroom is large with walk-in mosaic tiled shower plus a full sized bath, wash hand basin, wc and bidet, to this bathroom is where you will find the washing machine.
Outside is a covered terrace a great area to eat and BBQ during the heat of the midday sun this looks out upon the pool and the main part of the garden with its many fruit trees. The pool has ample paving for soaking up the sun while dipping your toe in the pool.
Around the garden are wooded areas providing shade and privacy. To the side of the villa you will find a pond which is fenced, with many goldfish and water plants making this a pretty garden feature.
There is plenty of parking and a washing line to the back of the villa.

Description of Area in & around Flayosc, near Draguignan
Flayosc, Draguignan, Provence, South of France
Here you will experience wealth and unspoilt treasures of this area. Its beautiful landscape with both mountains and sea and the rolling hills in between covered with vine yards, pine forest, olive groves and lavender fields. There are sandy beaches, safe for the children to play, rocky coves and the dramatic coast line of the Estérel mountain range falling into the Mediterranean Sea.
Drive inland to the sleepy picturesque Provencal hilltop villages with their cafes, bars, restaurants, winding streets and pretty village squares. Feel the warmth of the sun as it ripens the grapes on the vines growing on the hills and in the valley's, stop, take time to visit the wine domains and sample their local wines, this area produces light fresh rosés which represent 75 % of the harvest, the reds make up 20 % and the whites only 5 %. The harvest or as it is know "vendages" is normally within the month of September, this is another wonderful time to visit this area, see how the wine begins life. Each village and town has great choices of Domains and Wine Co-Op, so you will never run dry.
If you wish to soak up the sun with the sound of the sea rushing along the beach edge you can pick from sandy beaches or rocky coves, just dip your toes or take a boat trip along the coast or out to one of the Iles d'Hyères a tourist's dream. A drive along the Estérel coast is well worth the effort the scenery is breath taking.
If you are feeling adventuress, the Var can offer you its very own Grand Canyon of Europe, the Gorges de Verdon which forms a natural frontier between the Var and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Here the air is clear, the breeze is gentle and the mountains forming the gorge are over whelming, follow the river down to the brightest, bluest lake you have ever seen, Lac St. Croix. Once by the lake you can swim, canoe, sail - there is masses of activities here for the adventurous, or just sit back on the lakeside and enjoy the view.
