The apartment is close to a shops and restaurants and there are regular buses up and down the strip at incredibly low fares if you prefer a wider selection to choose from.

This apartment enjoys all the comforts of home with english television, air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom from the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you would need for your self catering holiday. The apartment also has airconditioning and ceiling fans in the 2 main bedrooms. There is a sofabed in the lounge if you have between 6 and 8 guests and bunk beds in the third bedroom.

The balcony enjoys the sunshine all through the morning. The pool is very large and has been spectacularly landscaped and is only available to guests staying on the complex. There is a shallow area for younger children and this makes a lovely spot to relax.

Description of Area in & around La Manga, Mar Menor
La Manga, Costa Calida, Murcia, Spain
The apartment is situated on the Costa Calida which is south east Spain, at the northern end of La Manga strip. With The Mediterranean sea on one side and the Mar Menor on the other, you are just a few minutes walk from either beach. The Mar Menor has warm shallow waters ideal for children and there are endless beaches to choose from.
The Mar Menor averages water temperatures of around 30c in the summer so it is ideal for all types of water sports including scuba diving, water skiing, sailing and many more. The Mar Menor is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to help treat the symptoms of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
This region of Spain enjoys and average of 320 days of sunshine each year and because its one of the driest regions of Spain it makes a great spot for holidays in both winter and summer.
Within the area there are tennis courts which are open all year round, full size go-kart track and roller skating rink.
This area is also host to the famous La Manga Club which boasts championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and many other activities.
Whether you are looking for a romantic break or family holiday, you can do as much as little as you want as there is something for everyone here.
La Manga is a strip of land 22kms long which nestles between two seas, the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor (the Little Sea). The Mar Menor is a large lake of warm salt water which is famous for its therapeutic properties.
It has an average depth of 1.7m which makes it ideal for water sports. The depth around the shore is only 0.5m and this along with the warm water temperatures makes La Manga the perfect place for children to safely enjoy the beach.
There is a sailing school just 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment offering a good variety of water sports. From novice to the experienced they cater for all.
Closeby is the black mud from the Mar Menor which is believed to help relieve the pain of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
There are various boat trips leaving from the port daily. They will take you around the vast coast of the Mar Menor stopping off for a meal along the way.
Scuba diving has become more popular in this area and there are schools in La Manga and Cabo de Palos which organise daily trips by boat and offering equipment to rent for newcomers.
Also in the La Manga area are tennis clubs with courts open to the public all year round, plus a roller skating rink and a full size go-kart track. The road which runs through La Manga has been built to offer the cyclist the safety of a cycle-lane and because there are hardly any hills on the strip, its ideal for cycling.
There is a 9 hole golf course almost opposite the apartment but La Manga Club is not far away if you wish to play golf on their championship courses.
La Manga Club also offers a vast range of other activities and has superb spa facilities which are open to the public.
