The apartment complex is situated on the beaches of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which enjoys average water temperatures of 30c during the summer months. Because of the water temperatures, this makes an ideal location for all sorts of water sports. There are international schools closeby which offer all sorts of nautical activies from scuba diving, water skiing to wind surfing.
The Mar Menor is also home to The Black Mud which is said to help treat rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
Also nearby is the famous La Manga Club which is host to championship golf courses, aswell as tennis courts, spa facilities and a vast range of other activities. Theses are open to the public all year round.
Playa Honda is an up and coming village with a selection of shops, restaurants and a supermarket.
