Playa Paraiso, Mar Menor, Costa Calida, Murcia, Spain
This house is situated along the coast of the Mar Menor which averages water temperatures of around 30c during the summer months which makes its an ideal spot for all sorts of water sports. The Mar Menor is also known for its Black Mud which is said to help in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
This area of Spain enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year and as its one of the driest regions of Spain, its a great place to enjoy the winters aswell as the summers.
The famous La Manga Club is a short car journey away where you will find championship golf courses, tennis, spa facilities and much more which are all open to the public all year round.
The whole of the La Manga area offers national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices. This area caters for all the family and whether you want to do a little or alot, there is really something for everyone.
There are several sailing and scuba diving schools in the nearby village of Cabo de Palos. There are also daily markets in the surrounding villages which sell a vast selection of fruit vegetables, meat, fish, household goods and much more.
Playa Paraiso/Playa Honda has a selection of shops and restaurants offering all types of cuisine. Just a short car ride away opens up the choice restaurants to national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Closeby is La Manga Club which is world famous for its golf, but it also offers a good selection of shops, restaurants, out door activities aswell as spa facilities. This is open all year round to the public.
You can also find tennis courts, roller skating and a Go-kart track which are all a short car ride away. The area around the Mar Menor is relatively flat and is therefore ideal for walking or cycling.
