Description of villa
in Frigiliana, near Nerja:
Villa Cortijo Simon is a two-bedroom cortijo built in a traditional style, with views of the coast. It is approximately 2 kilometers above the village of Frigiliana and although reached by a track of approx 2kilometers all of it is surfaced apart from the last 200meters.
Once you arrive at the house there are large gates, which lead onto the grounds and parking for at least two cars.
The ground of the villa are separated into several different areas, a covered terrace with BBQ , a terrace were the square shaped pool is situated, and two further terraces with fantastic views of the local countryside and the coast of Nerja and Torrox plus a small roof terrace.
As you enter the villa you arrive into a large room that is divided into Lounge dining area with open fireplace, fitted sofas and TV (Spanish only).
The kitchen is separated from the lounge by an American bar and is built in a traditional cortijo style, with large fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven and is generally well equipped.
There are total of two bedrooms, one double with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and dressing table and a twin with dressing table and freestanding wardrobe.
The bathroom is fully fitted with full bath, toilet and hand basin (the washing machine is kept here).
This house offers simply but comfortable accommodation in a rural location with fantastic views and is ideal for those looking for peace and tranquility.
Prices are per week, per villa.
Taxes and electricity are included.
The villa will be clean on arrival and linen and towels are provided (Please bring your own beach towels). Change of linen and towels after 7 days.

The region is subtropical and is unique in Europe having an average temperature of 18 and approx 300 sunny days a year.
This enables a prosperous agricultural growth of tropical trees and plants – Avocadoes. Mango, Chirimoyas to name but a few.
For Golf enthusiasts the nearby Anoreta and Bavaria de Golf course at Velez Malaga have all the requirements for even the most experienced of Golfers.
The nearby fishing port of Caleta de Velez Malaga is a great place for marine activities and also Nerja has specialized centres for water sports and scuba diving.
For those wishing to explore further afield the area is rich in culture and history and the nearby Moorish villages of Frigiliana and Maro are only a short distance 4 km from Nerja. Surrounding the area of fine displays of Moorish mudejar architecture and the caves of Nerja are famous for their natural beauty showing artefacts and cave drawings from as far back as the Neolithic age.
Taxis, car rental, guided sightseeing trips are available if required. A few hours away by car are Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Gibralter.
