The Mar Menor enjoys average temperatures of 30c during the summer months. With an average of 320 days of sunshine each year and this being one of the driest regions of Spain, it makes an fantastic spot for holidays both summer and winter.
There are activities to suit all ages and these include horse riding, go-karting, tennis, golfing and a vast range of nautical sports.
La Manga club is around 5 minutes by car and this offers numerous championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and many other activities which are open all year round to the public so you can do as little or as much as you like on your holiday.
This region of Spain is situated on the Costa Calida. The Costa Calida is on the South East coast and is the driest region of Spain and enjoying of average 320 days of sunshine each year. It is therefore ideal for a winter break aswell as summer holidays.
This region has a cosmopolitan feel and there are many nationalities that enjoy their holidays in the region. Within the area are a choice of national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices so you will be spoilt for choice.
The apartment is situated in Mar de Cristal which is an up and coming area. The village has a selection of shops and restaurants and is only a 5 minute walk from the beach.
There are various markets in the neighboring villages which sell a good mix of fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, household goods which include pictures, curtains, ornaments and kitchen items such as pots, pans, cutlery, glasses and many other items.
La Manga Club is a short drive away which also offers a whole host of activities including golf, tennis and spa facilities.
There is a selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance but if you travel a little further afield you can find a large selection of restaurants offering national and international dishes at very reasonable prices.
