The Mar Menor enjoys average temperatures of 30c during the summer months. With an average of 320 days of sunshine each year and this being one of the driest regions of Spain, it makes an fantastic spot for holidays both summer and winter. The mild winters provide an escape from the cold English winters.
There are activities to suit all ages and these include horse riding, go-karting, tennis, golfing and a vast range of nautical sports.
La Manga club is around 10 minutes by car and this offers numerous championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and many other activities which are open all year round to the public. Whether you want to do lots of activities or whether you prefer to relax with a book by the pool -you can do as little or as much as you like.
The apartment is situated in the village of Los Nietos which is along the coast of the Mar Menor. There are a selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and also a weekly market offering fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and many household items.
La Manga Club is a short drive away which also offers a whole host of activities including golf, tennis and spa facilities. This is open all year round to the public.
There is a selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance but if you travel a little further afield you can find a large selection of restaurants offering national and international dishes at very reasonable prices.
