Benissa, Costa Blanca, Spain
The Moraira/Javea/Calpe area of the Costa Blanca (often referred to as the Gold Coast) is a most beautiful part of the Mediterranean Cost of Spain, It abounds in vineyards, almond and citrus groves and the whole area is surrounded by mountains giving this particular part of the coastline a most attractive feel.
There are numerous beaches in the area offering excellent safe bathing and meeting the requirements of the EEC for cleanliness and services, which permits the flying of the Blue Flag. For the water sports and boating enthusiast there are fully equipped Marinas in Javea and Moraira as well as those at Denia to the North and Calpe to the South. There are, for the golfing fanatics, a number of excellent courses in the area. Tennis fans along with green bowling also well catered for.
There is a weekly outdoor market in all towns and villages in the area. Accessibility to local Airports (Approx. 1 Hour 15 Minutes) and Major trunk routes to the North and South of the area is excellent.
