Situated in a seaside village of Jard sur Mer in Western Loire or Southern Vendee. The area boasts miles of beautiful sandy beaches (nearest is 25 min walk)and extensive forests. Village centre 10 mins walk. Lots of recreational activities locally (seasonal). Famous 'Vendee Globe' starts in nearby Les Sables D'olonne (15 min drive).Off season is quiet. Talmont (10 Mins drive) is the home of the historical castle of 'Richard Coeur de lion'. Many beautiful coastal towns and also islands nearby. Great area for cycling.
