The village has all facilities and the pretty cathedral city of Luçon is 12.5 miles (20km) away. The historic city of La Rochelle is 28 miles (45km) south and the resort of Les Sables is 25 miles (40km) north.
The forests are nearby, with many walking trails, the sea is lovely and without danger, with 8kms of fine sand, there is even a nauturalist beach nearby.
